Recent reviews

(version 17 for iPhone) Stash.app is a fine idea, but is incomplete or inconsistent with its feature set. First, text search within screenshots is locked behind the in-App purchase. It is not fully clear in the appstore description or website. Second, the text within screenshots is not accessible. It is not user selectable nor can the text be exported via Share sheet. However, buried in settings is the ability to export a markdown file for a full “stash”. Settings> Backup & Export: Export Data.md This should become a marquee feature! Stash.app is almost there, but it currently limits itself without easy export of extracted text.

This has SAVED me! I LOVE collecting information :) i am constantly sorting through my screenshots and trying to sort via albums and it takes up a lot of storage space. I also have 100s of videos and posts saved in collections, boards and websites across multiple social media sites. And this app is the PERFECT way for me to have a hub where I can keep posts/videos on the same topic from different apps!! And it doesn’t require me to do a bunch of extra steps or make a spreadsheet ect.

Update: 6/12/2026 While the latest update has improved performance and it no longer no longer lags while navigating in the UI, the syncing is still terrible. I have raised my rating to 3 stars but need the syncing to work to be a five star app. Original review: While I love how this app works (it’s honestly the bookmarking app I’ve been looking for). The syncing is currently completely broken and overall performance has taken a hit in the most recent updates. The sync is so bad it’s unusable for me. Should these get fixed it’s easily a 5 star application, until then I can’t use it.
