User Reviews

Users praise Stash Anything for centralizing saved items into organized stashes and saving acts on links, photos, and screenshots. It’s praised as simple and useful across media types, with positive developer responsiveness and ongoing fixes to iCloud sync. Major drawbacks include unreliable cross-device syncing, data loss risks after updates, a non-native macOS experience with unclear platform support, and concerns about free-tier limits and the app’s longevity.
Pros
  • Centralizes saved items into stashes for easy access
  • Consolidates watch/read-later items into one place to help you act on them
  • Simple, multi-media organizer for links, photos, screenshots, etc.
  • Responsive developer with ongoing fixes, including iCloud sync improvements
Cons
  • Unreliable cross-device iCloud sync across iOS and macOS (syncing can stall or fail)
  • Data loss risk with updates (reports of saved data being deleted)
  • Mac app feels like a port; cross-platform support is unclear/not native
  • Free tier limits and uncertainty about long-term viability/credibility of the developer

Does not work in other browsers such as Zen, or Arc. “Could not read content” every time. Works in Safari however.

This app is exactly what I've been looking for. The design / layout is beautiful. Everything is so incredibly functional. This app actually makes me want to go back and organize anything that I've saved as "unsorted", whereas other apps I usually just let it turn into chaos. The only thing that sucks is that I cannot afford the premium right now—but that's a ME problem, not on the dev. I actually love that they've made it a one time payment. I hope to see more apps created because this one is just—chefs kiss 👨🏻‍🍳🤌🏼💋

I really wish there was some sort of trial for the lifetime version. It’s hard to get a full feel for everything without one. Otherwise the app seems nice EDIT: oh my gosh! My sincere apologies!!! I somehow missed this, I’m visually impaired and wonder if that had something to do with it? I need lots of contrast but either way, you’re a doll and I’m SO SORRY!! Can you please elaborate on “it’s yours to keep if it’s the app for you?!” Something about going against subscription? I can contact you directly if you don’t mind leaving an email and then I’ll update my review again so all this is taken out! I’m SO SORRY AGAIN!! THANK YOU!
