Privacy

The app does not collect analytics, usage telemetry, advertising identifiers, device fingerprints, or background behavioral metrics. No automatic data transmission to developer-controlled servers occurs.

AI-assisted code completion is optional. External communication occurs only when you enable AI completion and choose an external provider in Settings.

When AI completion is used, the app sends only the minimal text context needed to generate a suggestion, usually text near the cursor or active selection. It does not automatically transmit project folders, unrelated files, file-system contents, contacts, location data, or device identifiers.

API keys for external AI providers are stored securely in the system Keychain and are sent only to the provider you select for a completion request. External AI communication uses encrypted HTTPS connections. When AI completion is disabled, the app makes no AI-related network requests.

I like that you recently added the ability for us to choose exactly which icons are in the toolbar. However, could you add a feature that allows us to organize the order of these icons? Could you also add the ability for one to use custom fonts that the user has on their phone? For instance, I have a profile installed for Fira Code, and I would like to use it here. Thank you! One of the best editors around.

Dear developer! Loving it so far. It’s like a lightweight version of windows notepad++, although I’ve been facing some issues with the coloring scheme with the markdown files of Claude’s out MD files. Maybe needs a bit of work on that but also, while reading through it, it feels that the text becomes somehow “interactive” and moves around. It get’s confused with certain section and I thought it tended to delete sections of text depending on what it considers it as “code”! Hope this helps in future improvements. Thank you for your work!
