For noise & environmental monitoring

Long-duration sound level measurement with A/C/Z weighting and Fast/Slow/Impulse time constants. Full statistics: Leq, Lmax, Lmin, Lpeak, L10, L50, L90, and SEL. Adaptive noise-event detection logs each event's level, duration, and rise/fall rate. NIOSH/OSHA noise-exposure dose for occupational settings, and automatic zone-limit assessment per GB 3096-2008. If a call or Siri interrupts a measurement, Soniclyze pauses and marks the interrupted interval automatically, then lets you continue.

High-resolution real-time spectrum analysis (standard ~11.7 Hz; EPPO low-frequency mode down to ~0.73 Hz, FFT up to 65536). Octave-band resolution from 1/1 to 1/24. Six window functions including Flat-Top for pure-tone amplitude work. Real-time feedback detection. Microphone sensitivity correction (via known mV/Pa spec, optional 94 dB reference calibrator).
