The Installer Application is a professional mobile app designed to simplify and standardize the installation of Legrand Care carephones and accessories directly at the user’s location.

It supports installers in delivering a fast, correct, and high-quality installation, while ensuring secure configuration and full traceability.

This app is intended exclusively for authorized installers with valid credentials. Your company administrator will provide you with your login details.

A step-by-step installation wizard guides the installer through the complete setup process, ensuring that no critical step is missed. The wizard supports:

· Device identification and network provisioning

· Installation mode for testing without triggering live alarms

For professional use cases, the app provides advanced settings with special access rights, including:

· Voice and signal volume configuration with live testing

· Network coverage checks and optimal device placement

· Accessory pairing with built-in range testing

· Technical status overview and alarm log listing

· Mobile and IP connectivity settings

· Ethernet activation

· Clear warnings help installers understand the impact of advanced changes

The Installer Application enables secure setup of alternative communication paths:

· Wi-Fi provisioning, even without mobile network coverage

· Secure handling of Wi-Fi credentials (encrypted, not shared)

· Support for mobile network and Ethernet configurations

Installers can add, remove, and configure a wide range of Legrand Care accessories, such as portable triggers, fall detectors, door and smoke sensors. The app provides:

· Clear overviews of connected accessories

· Guided pairing workflows

· Range and walk tests for radio accessories

All configuration changes are applied immediately and synchronized with the connected care device and the Carephone Management Platform (CMP), ensuring instant feedback and reducing installation errors.
