Everyone, everyday, will need to use the toilet – some people more often than others. Toilet Map is the UK's largest database of ‘publicly-accessible toilets’ with over 15,000 facilities.

Toilet Map is run by Public Convenience, a joint venture between Royal College of Art researchers Dr Jo-Anne Bichard and Gail Ramster and software development company Neontribe. This mobile app has been developed by Dr Tony Beaumont.

The information comes from the public - go to https://toiletmap.org.uk/ to add, edit or remove toilets.

‘Publicly-accessible toilets’ means those the public can use without needing to be a customer. This includes:

• public toilets
• toilets in stations (including platform-side toilets) and the road network
• shopping centre toilets
• toilets in public buildings (town halls, libraries, hospitals
• Community Toilet Schemes - where a business has agreed the public can use their toilet without buying anything.

We do not show toilets that are customer-only.
