The NHS Primary Care Gambling Service presents PCGS Change and Sustain – an app designed to aid recovery from gambling-related harms.

The Primary Care Gambling Service is an NHS service that provides support for adults experiencing gambling-related harms. PCGS Change and Sustain is a free tool designed by our specialist clinical and therapy teams to support people experiencing gambling-related harms in their recovery journey and to help sustain positive change for people who had previously experienced harm. We understand the impacts that gambling harms can have and have built our app using the same principles of empathetic care and the values of lived experience that define our service.

PCGS Change and Sustain can support those experiencing harm to improve their wellbeing, effectively plan and make changes, build their motivation, start conversations, support their loved ones, and seek professional advice. This app features:

• Recovery Planning Make a recovery plan for how you want to improve your wellbeing and the steps to take to achieve it.
• Informative Articles and Videos Learn more about the gambling industry, gambling harms, and support offers through our educational content.
• Advice for Recovery Our clinical and therapy teams have put together useful tools and tips for those experiencing gambling-harm on subjects including managing cravings, improving your wellbeing, supporting loved ones, and more.
• Additional Support We understand that gambling harm can have a wide range of impacts. Our support directory features organisations that can assist with wellbeing, debt/finances, other addictions, and more.
