Features & Capabilities

Judge-y gives attorneys, litigants, court watchers, and the general public a platform to rate and review judges — bringing transparency and accountability to the courtroom.

Whether you've argued before a judge, represented yourself in court, or observed proceedings as a member of the public, your experience matters. Judge-y lets you share it.

RATE AND REVIEW JUDGES Submit detailed ratings across multiple criteria based on your courtroom experience. Rate judges on a 1-5 scale, add comments, and specify your experience type — from court appearances and motion hearings to trials and sentencing. Post anonymously or under your verified identity.

BROWSE THE JUDGE DIRECTORY Search judges by name, court, or location. Filter by court type, jurisdiction, case type, or rating. View overall ratings, rating breakdowns by criteria, and reviewer demographics to get a complete picture.

VERIFIED ATTORNEY BADGES Attorneys can verify their credentials with their state bar number to earn a verified badge, adding credibility to their reviews. Verification is optional — anonymous posting is always available.

COMMUNITY FORUMS Join discussions about judicial conduct, share insights, and learn from others' experiences. Create threads, reply to posts, upvote helpful contributions, and tag specific judges in your discussions. Post anonymously with a randomly generated username for privacy.

TRUST LEVELS AND BADGES Build your reputation through quality contributions. Earn trust points by writing reviews, participating in forums, and helping the community. Unlock badges from Common to Legendary rarity as you contribute.

FOLLOW JUDGES Follow judges you care about to receive updates when new reviews or discussions are posted. Your personalized "My Judges" feed keeps you informed on the judges that matter to you.

DIRECT MESSAGING Connect privately with other community members through direct messaging.

MULTIPLE PERSPECTIVES WELCOME Judge-y supports attorneys, self-represented litigants, court watchers, court personnel, and the general public — each with tailored rating criteria reflecting their unique courtroom perspective.

PRIVACY FIRST Post reviews and forum comments anonymously. Your identity is never disclosed without your consent. Attorney verification is entirely optional.

Judge-y is built for everyone who believes the public deserves to know what happens in the courtroom.

I just downloaded so I’ll come back after I use it for a while, but I’m incredibly grateful for the blood, sweat and tears put into getting this app off the ground and running! I am hopeful this is going to help make a huge change!
