Every product gets three scores that combine into one:

• Nutrition — calories, sugar, fat, fibre, protein • Additives — 500+ additives detected, 86 rated by risk level • Processing — NOVA 1 (unprocessed) to NOVA 4 (ultra-processed)

Ultra-processed products (NOVA 4) get a 40% score reduction. Because a cereal bar with 30 ingredients shouldn't score the same as rolled oats with two.
