Sand Grown is a digital platform that reimagines Blackpool as an "urban farm" where communities can gather and grow food, or creative resources, explore nature on their doorsteps, and share creative interventions, recipes, stories, and wisdom.

Created by ecosystem2 and LeftCoast for Blackpool communities, Sand Grown brings creativity, food, and nature into more people's lives. With the mobile app, you can:

• Take Field Notes using your smartphone – capture photos with descriptions and tags
• Build a seasonal nature map of Blackpool
• Post to a digital community noticeboard shared across mobile and web
• View the digital noticeboard and discover seasonal patterns, community and creativity on your doorstep

On the website, you can:

• Browse community content and discoveries
• Add events, recipes, how-to guides, blogs, and poetry
• Pin everything to the noticeboard to spark new adventures, conversations or gatherings in your neighborhood
