Track sessions, log finds, and build your detecting record

My Finds Created by a metal detectorist, for metal detectorists… MY FINDS allows you to record your detecting sessions including the path you walk, the GPS location of each find, descriptions of those finds, photographs, and more.

TRACK YOUR SESSIONS Simply tap the button to start and My Finds will begin tracking your path with exact GPS location. Easy-to-use controls allow you to set preferences for auto-ending a session after inactivity, or pausing and resuming sessions. Record your detector model and program for the outing (if you wish) and get started!

LOG YOUR FINDS Tap the button to add a find and the app will record its exact location and any other details you provide (category, depth, metal type, description, VDI, etc.). Finds can also be added later if you miss any while you’re in the field.

ADD & SHARE PHOTOS Take pictures of each find while you’re out in the field, using adjustable camera settings, or take a photo later and add it to your record for that find. Share images by tapping the share button on individual photos within the app.

VIEW PAST SESSIONS See an actual map of your path with colour-coded pins for each find. Overlay a footpath map (UK) or filter by category to spot patterns in your finds. UK features include an OS grid reference for every find location and Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) submission tracking.

Try free with no subscription for logging up to 20 finds, or free for 30 days with an annual subscription. Your finds data will not be deleted if you choose not to subscribe, or if you cancel at any time. You will still have full access to your finds, but adding new ones requires an active subscription.
