User Reviews

Overall, reviews are largely negative. Recurring rendering errors waste credits and force retries; rendered videos can freeze or fail, and user assets may be lost. Reported issues include unhelpful or unreachable support and unclear pricing/feature details. A few comments are positive, but reliability and customer care appear to be the primary concerns.

Pros

Cons

Frequent rendering errors and failures that break videos and require retries
Credits charged for each render/retry, leading to ongoing costs even when issues occur
Data loss risk: users report losing saved videos, characters, and storyboards
Poor customer support or unhelpful/unresponsive service when contacting support
Lack of transparency about pricing, features, and what the subscription actually provides

Recent reviews

I am very disappointed with Scriptly. I paid $34 for a monthly subscription and waited over 2 hours for a 2-minute video that was never delivered. My credit balance started at 12,000 and kept dropping for no reason - last I saw it was down to 2,013 credits with nothing to show for it. No video, no service. I have sent multiple emails and received no response. The app is unreliable and customer support is non-existent. 😡😡😡
