SANS 2026

It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to the 20th Annual Meeting of the Saudi Association of Neurological Surgery (SANS), to be held in Jeddah from April 3rd to 5th, 2026, hosted by Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group, Al Muhammadiyah Hospital.

This year’s meeting, themed “Shaping Tomorrow: Neurosurgery 2030,” marks a historic milestone in our collective journey. While neurosurgery in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a legacy spanning more than five decades, the establishment of the Saudi Association of Neurological Surgery twenty years ago created a unified national platform that has driven collaboration, academic exchange, and continuous advancement in our field. Over these two decades, SANS has grown to become a symbol of professional excellence, education, and innovation for neurosurgeons across the Kingdom.

Our theme reflects the spirit of transformation inspired by Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to build a vibrant society, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation. The health sector transformation under Vision 2030 focuses on enhancing quality of care, fostering preventive health, expanding private sector participation, digitalizing healthcare systems, and empowering national talent. Neurosurgery is at the heart of this transformation embracing robotics, artificial intelligence, neuronavigation, and minimally invasive technologies that will redefine patient outcomes and elevate standards of care across Saudi Arabia.

The 20th Annual Meeting will bring together distinguished national and international experts to discuss these emerging frontiers, share clinical experiences, and address evolving models of healthcare delivery, including privatization and digital integration. Through keynote lectures, scientific sessions, and pre-conference workshops, this gathering will provide a platform for collaboration, innovation, and professional development.

Equally important, this meeting offers an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, strengthen partnerships, and celebrate the achievements of our neurosurgical community. As we honor the pioneers who laid the foundations of our specialty, we also look forward to nurturing the next generation of neurosurgeons who will carry the torch forward into the next era.
