This app is a total game changer for anyone who saves recipe videos but never actually cooks from them. I’ve been following a bunch of food creators on TikTok and Instagram, and I’d always end up with a million saved videos I never went back to. Receta fixes that perfectly. I pasted in a few different links - one quick TikTok pasta, a longer YouTube curry, and an Instagram reel for some dessert - and every time it pulled out clean ingredients with quantities, full steps, cook time, and even the creator’s name. No more pausing every ten seconds trying to figure out how much of something they used. The cooking mode on YouTube videos is honestly brilliant. Tap a step and it jumps right to that part of the video. I tried it while making dinner last night and it felt way less stressful than usual. The smart shopping list is super handy too - I combined two recipes I wanted to try this week and it made one clean list I could just tick off at the store. Everything feels really polished and easy to use. I’ve already saved a little collection of my go-to meals and even exported one as a PDF to keep in my kitchen.
