Edgy MIDI/OSC/CV Controller

Contour-based MIDI/OSC/CV controller. Detects edges from photos. Hand tracking, grid mode, presets, iCloud sync. Outputs via CoreMIDI, OSC UDP, and CV.

Edgy is a MIDI, OSC, and CV controller for iOS and macOS. It detects contours from photographs of hardware devices and places touch controllers along the detected edges.

CAPTURE

• Photograph hardware via camera or import from photo library

CONTROLLER TYPES

• Continuous: proportional value output based on touch position
• Trigger: single message on tap
• Gate: note-on while held, note-off on release

HAND TRACKING

• Vision-based hand detection via front camera
• Pinch gesture controls nearby parameters
• Independent left and right hand tracking
• Functions alongside multi-touch input

GRID MODE

• Configurable grid layout, up to 10x10 cells
• Independent X/Y axis modes per cell (Continuous, Trigger, Gate)
• Individual MIDI/OSC mapping per cell

• MIDI via CoreMIDI — virtual port or external hardware
• OSC over UDP — configurable host, port, and address
• CV via audio interface — up to 16 channels
• Per-controller channel, CC number, note, and message type
