■ Privacy you can verify Your .m4a recording file is never stored by Lecsy — it stays on your iPhone, never saved to your account or our servers. For transcription, audio is handled two ways: during Premium AI and Pro cloud transcription, audio is sent over TLS to our speech-to-text provider, transcribed, and not stored by Lecsy; otherwise transcription runs entirely on your iPhone and audio never leaves your device. Transcript text syncs to your account only when you're signed in. Using AI Summary or Exam Mode sends your transcript text (not audio) to our server and to OpenAI's API to generate results; OpenAI does not train on API content. No ads, no trackers, no IDFA. We never sell your data, and our providers do not train on it per their API terms.
