SCAN YOUR PRODUCTS Scan a product's barcode, then photograph its lot or batch number: Numeline reads the code and checks, by brand and lot, whether it matches an official FDA or USDA recall. You can also type the lot yourself. Ideal for groceries, inventory, or incoming shipments.

WHEN NO LOT NUMBER IS PUBLISHED Agencies sometimes announce a recall without publishing lot codes. Rather than reporting nothing found, Numeline flags a possible recall when the brand and product type match, and shows the details that were published, such as "Best if Used By" dates, so you can check your item. Numeline also monitors FDA press releases, often published before the enforcement database is updated.

RECALL ALERTS Get notified if a product you have already scanned becomes subject to a recall. Monitoring continues automatically after your scan, even when the app is closed.

COMPLETE INFORMATION For each recall: brand, reason (listeria, salmonella, undeclared allergen, foreign object), affected lots, distributor, what to do, and a link to the official notice.
