Contemporary commentary made this app stand out among other Gita apps when it was introduced. Since the last few weeks the commentary text is dated and does not reflect the audio. They are totally different. Also, the Sanskrit narration by the automated reader is completely off and distracting. If these issues are addressed this will be the best Gita app again!

4/14: unfortunately the app is plagued with bugs like text commentary being out of sync with the verses, AI generated audio is terrible. 2/21: much needed corrections and audio commentary added. Love this again 2/15-reducing 2 stars because of content quality and formatting issues across multiple days… Old: I had been looking for an app that will help me develop the daily habit of reading The Gita. This app beautifully fills that need by offering bite-sized reading, accompanied by insightful and relevant deep interpretation. It takes the learning up a notch by including reflections nudging you to think deeply and apply the learnings to your daily life thus helping accomplish true aim of philosophy — achieve wisdom and live better. That you get to learn Sanskrit and Hindi translations is a bonus. Thank you for building this app. You’re going to change a lot of lives!!
