Allied Defence Watch

We are making available to you the "DefWatch" application designed for military and civilian personnel in our institution, with the hope that you will find it useful in your work. The creation of the application arose from the need to have quick access to news of military interest from the online environment, but also to be informed about the activities and missions of colleagues from the military institution. The user experience in the application is simple, intuitive, dynamic and offers the possibility of selecting and changing various existing options. The novelty of the application is represented by the Artificial Intelligence system, which, based on the user's own experience and actions such as likes, shares, favorites or bookmarks, will manage to present, in a clear and eloquent manner, information that is of interest to registered users. At the same time, the Artificial Intelligence system performs, automatically and in real time, sentiment analysis on news from the online environment, managing to bring to the forefront those news items that have a negative or positive impact for the existing user, depending on polarity preferences. Additionally, the application sends real-time notifications to registered users, with the possibility of setting according to preferences the type and frequency of notifications, presenting the most recent news in an easy manner. The launched product is a beta version that will be permanently updated according to suggestions received from users. The application is created with the purpose of becoming a trusted partner for the employees of our institution, presenting news from the online environment in an objective manner on topics of interest, based on user preferences.
