TicTacCheck is a unique and strategic board game that combines the tactical movement of chess pieces with the simple winning conditions of tic-tac-toe. Play locally with a friend on the same device in this innovative pass-and-play experience.

STRATEGIC GAMEPLAY Master the art of chess piece movement on a 4x4 board. Each piece moves just like in chess - Pawns move forward and capture diagonally, Knights make L-shaped moves, Rooks move in straight lines, and Bishops move diagonally. But with a twist: get 4 pieces in a row to win!

TWO-PHASE GAME Start by placing pieces from your reserve onto the board. Once both players have 3 pieces on the board, the movement phase begins. You can continue placing reserve pieces or move existing pieces strategically to block your opponent and create winning lines.

UNIQUE PIECE MECHANICS

• Pawn: Moves forward one square, captures diagonally. Special bounce mechanic at board edges!
• Knight: Classic L-shaped moves in any direction
• Rook: Moves any number of squares horizontally or vertically
• Bishop: Moves any number of squares diagonally

LOCAL MULTIPLAYER Perfect for playing with friends face-to-face. No internet connection required - just pass the device back and forth. The game clearly indicates whose turn it is and highlights all legal moves and capture opportunities.
