Coronagraph images show material surrounding the Sun. Expanding bright clouds may indicate a coronal mass ejection, known as a CME. Not every CME is directed toward Earth.

CME Watch is a visual companion to the existing space weather data. The app does not automatically detect CMEs or predict their direction.
