Is Apple Intelligence absolutely necessary?

Sockpuppets also work on devices without Apple Intelligence, but the AI features will then be unavailable. It is recommended to use a device with full Apple Intelligence support.

Privacy and Security

Sockpuppet doesn't have its own servers, doesn't collect any of your data, and doesn't analyze anything. Its AI functions run locally on your device, without an internet connection, using Apple Intelligence. Sockpuppet only connects to websites you've explicitly visited. Entered passwords are encrypted with a unique master key in your Apple Keychain. No one can see what you do with your Sockpuppets, not even the developer of Sockpuppet.
