Novi for Schools

Students tap their phone on an NFC tag to enter focus mode during lessons. While focus mode is active, access to distracting apps is limited so students can stay present and engaged.

Teachers can see which students have opted into focus mode, helping reinforce a shared classroom expectation around attention.

Permissions & privacy

Novi uses Apple’s Screen Time permissions to restrict access to distracting apps during active focus sessions. Permissions are only used while a session is active.

Student focus status is visible only to authorised teachers. Novi does not sell data or display ads.
