Alpha Track – HR Time Tracking Ecosystem

Alpha Track is a GDPR-compliant time tracking and basic HR management application designed for companies. It enables structured, project-based time recording, workflow coordination, and internal communication without the complexity of traditional HR software.

The mobile app focuses on core employee functions such as time tracking, project overview, and project-specific communication. Administrative tasks—such as creating projects, assigning employees, and configuring settings—are managed through a secure, web-based company and admin dashboard.

Using Alpha Track requires an account with email and password authentication. Guest or anonymous access is not supported, as all tracked work must be linked to a specific employee and assigned project.

Employees can start and stop time tracking for assigned projects. Tracked time entries are securely stored and visible to employees for transparency, as well as to authorized company administrators via the web dashboard.

A limited in-app chat is available within individual projects to support work-related communication. There are no public channels, global chats, or social networking features.

Push notifications are used only for functional reminders, such as notifying users if a time tracking session remains active without detected activity for an extended period. No marketing or promotional notifications are sent.

Optional location access may be required by companies for specific projects. Location data is collected only while a time tracking session is active and with the user’s explicit consent. Location is not tracked in the background outside active sessions. Background functionality is used strictly to maintain ongoing tracking sessions and ensure accurate time recording.

Alpha Track collects only the data necessary for core functionality, including account information, time tracking records, and optional location data when enabled. Data is stored securely and is not shared with third parties for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes. The app integrates only with functional service providers (such as mapping services for displaying locations and payment providers for company-level subscriptions).

The application is fully GDPR-compliant. Users can delete their account directly from within the app settings. Once confirmed, the account and associated personal data are permanently removed from the system.

Data access is role-based. Employees can view only their own data, while administrators can access data limited to their company and assigned projects. Alpha Track contains no public content and is intended solely for internal company use.

Test credentials are provided to App Review to verify login, project access, time tracking, optional location usage, notifications, and account deletion.
