BUILD YOUR CAST Make a story character from a photo or from scratch, in one of six illustration styles, and bring them back story after story. Give them an age, and say how they are related to each other - sister, grandpa, the family dog. The writing and the pictures both know it, so the same faces and the same relationships carry across every book you make. Up to four characters can share one story.

Photos are used once to draw the character, then discarded. Nothing is kept.

TWO WAYS TO WRITE Describe the story you want in your own words and let it be written from that. Or take the guided path: pick a theme, a setting and a lesson - or write your own - and set the tone, the length and how much text each page carries.

STORIES THAT HELP Gentle, age-appropriate stories that meet real moments: the dark, a first day at school, a new sibling, making friends. Woven into the narrative rather than bolted on as a moral.

FOR PARENTS Storytime Studio is made for parents to create stories for their children, not for children to use themselves. An account is required.

PLANS • Free - 4 stories a month. Text only: no pictures, no narration. Supported by a small banner. • Story pack - buy one full story outright, no subscription needed. Pictures, narration, up to 10 pages, export. It never expires, and it turns off ads while you hold one. • Starter - 10 stories a month with pictures and narration, up to 10 pages. • Family - 15 stories a month with pictures and narration, up to 10 pages.

Subscriptions are auto-renewing. Prices are shown in your local currency in the app before you buy.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.

Every story you make is yours to keep, read offline, and read again.
