How Rot Stop Works

Choose the apps you want to block: social media, games, shopping, or anything distracting.
Create multiple groups for different contexts (work, study, sleep)
(Optional) NFC tags: scan a physical tag to lock or unlock. Real-world friction you can't tap through.
Schedules: auto-lock apps at specific times and days (work hours, bedtime, weekends)
Usage limits: auto-block apps after a daily time threshold
Mix and match: add a schedule and an NFC tag to the same group

Your Pet

Rot Stop includes a virtual pet that mirrors your habits. Lock apps daily and your pet stays happy. Skip a day and it starts to worry. Miss a full week and it reverts to an egg.

This genuinely might be the most useful app I have ever downloaded on my device besides my prayer app. It has literally changed my life in a way I never thought was possible and I’m not just saying that, here’s why. I’ve been trying to stop doomscrolling for over a year now, but every time I do, the habit still somehow creeps in. My doom scrolling addiction went from probably 3-5 hours a day, down to 10 minutes (because that’s my limit on the app lol). With that extra time in my day, I have been able to live a much more productive and fulfilled life. Opioid like chemicals have stopped firing in my brain all day, and I’m able to crave hard things. Why this app over others? Not only it the most simple to use, once you create a limit, there is no way to bypass it unless you delete Rot Stop itself, or completely delete the group of apps that you blocked within Rot Stop. So basically, once you hit the limit, there’s no going back. Thank you to the app developer(s) who created this one of a kind app, you will always be in my heart.

I never write reviews but this app is genius and I have recommended it to all my friends. Afaik, it functions just as well as Brick and it’s free. Love it.
