Syrupy helps you keep track of your maple syrup hobby

Several years ago, my wife and I started doing hobby-ish maple syrup production (~100 trees). Being an old software developer, I decided that instead of making paper notes throughout the season, I’d come up with an iPhone app that tracks things for me (because software developers have never seen something that they didn’t want to write an application for).

Syrupy contains functionality that I (and some others!) find useful:

• Monitor production records, sap collection volume, brix, and syrup grades over time.
• Track your maple trees on an interactive map.
• Record tree details including diameter, spiles, and health status.
• Organize trees into groups and automatically calculate path distances to optimize your collection routes.

It's free and I have no intention of trying to make money on this. It’s a fun project where I’ve been able to try things like high-accuracy GPS, route mapping, etc, and I intend for it to remain fun.
