The Greater Wildwood Yacht Club was founded on Sunset Lake in 1938 by a group of dedicated boat owners who shared a love for sailing and camaraderie. From those first informal races to today's active racing program and vibrant social calendar, GWYC has grown into one of the South Jersey shore's most cherished yacht clubs.
