How does the Maytronics Ecoclear Controller work?

The Maytronics Ecoclear Controller features an integrated variable-speed drive designed to convert most single-speed filter pumps into highly efficient variable-speed operation.

Using homeowner inputs (such as pool volume and electricity tariffs) together with data captured by built-in flow, temperature, and pressure sensors, Maytronics Ecoclear calculates the ideal run time, duration, and pump speed needed to avoid overuse—helping reduce energy consumption and operating costs.

Maytronics Ecoclear also simplifies pool care by taking control of connected dosing and cleaning equipment to keep your water hygienic and crystal clear. With real-time pH and ORP monitoring, you can always see your pool’s chemical balance. Set your preferred target levels and the system can automatically dose (acid/chlorine) to maintain them, while alerting you when chemical supplies are low or when filter cleaning is required.

Temperature control is just as simple. The controller uses an integrated water temperature thermostat to manage solar heating and coordinate with most gas/electric heaters or heat pumps to efficiently maintain your ideal water temperature.
