Glucobot

Glucobot is a kid-friendly diabetes tracking app designed to help children build steady, healthy routines in a simple and engaging way. The app allows users to log, track, and store important daily information—such as blood sugar levels, insulin times, symptoms, and personal notes—all in one easy-to-use place.

With every log, Glucobot provides gentle reminders about the usual blood sugar range and can notify kids when it may be time to take their insulin based on the data they input. These reminders are meant to support consistency and awareness, not replace guidance from adults or healthcare professionals.

To make the experience more motivating, Glucobot includes a virtual pet companion. Kids earn points each time they log their diabetes information, and those points can be used in the in-app shop to buy clothes and accessories for their Glucobot pet. This reward system turns routine tracking into an enjoyable activity and encourages regular engagement.

The app also offers a simple section where users can list an emergency contact so they know who to reach out to if they need help.

Created as a student learning project, Glucobot focuses on being supportive and fun—helping kids stay organized and build good habits as they manage their day-to-day diabetes routines.
