Kilona is a complete 3D animation studio that fits in your hands. Model, rig, animate, and render professional character animation on a single device, with a workflow built for artists rather than technicians.

Model Your Characters Build meshes right on the canvas or import models to start from. Edit geometry vertex by vertex with extrude, subdivide, mirror, and proportional editing. Unwrap UVs with seam-based tools, and smooth your work with subdivision that keeps a separate quality level for the viewport and for final renders.

Rig with Armatures Create armatures with a full bone editor: extrude and subdivide bones, symmetrize left and right sides, and paint skin weights directly on the model. Pose your characters and capture poses to a library, complete with thumbnails, partial poses, and one-tap mirroring. Add constraints like trackers, look-at, stretch-to, and value drivers to bring rigs to life.

Design Materials Visually Shape every surface in a node-based shader graph, compiled live on your iPad. Wire up textures, colors, math, procedural noise, and color ramps into the PBR shading node, or go fully stylized with unlit graphs. Value changes update instantly with no recompile, so look development stays fluid.

Precision Curve Editing Fine-tune every movement in the graph editor. Control timing and easing with cubic bezier handles, multiple interpolation modes, and intuitive keyframe management. Scrub values directly on the keyframe toolbar, type exact numbers when you need them, and copy, paste, and align keyframes with ease.

Scene Composition Combine multiple rigs in a single scene. Iterate with drafts, save quick selection sets to focus on the channels that matter, and apply saved poses as keyframes. Set custom aspect ratios, backgrounds, and any frame rate you like, including cinema rates such as 23.976.

Full Camera Control Navigate your 3D scenes with orbital camera controls. Animate camera position, rotation, and field of view with stepped keys for clean cuts, and switch between perspective and orthographic projection.

Ray Traced Rendering, Right on Your iPad Render with a physically based rasterizer or a full path tracer, entirely on device. Ray traced output captures soft shadows, reflections, and bounced light with adjustable samples per frame. No render farm, no subscription, no waiting on the cloud.

Professional Export Render single frames or full sequences. Export as PNG, image sequences, or MP4 video, including transparency. Support for HD, 4K, and custom resolutions.
