User Reviews

Droplet Idle offers a calming, visually appealing idle experience with deep mechanics like auto-collection and prestige layers, and responsive developer support. However, players note slow early progression, a fast-approaching endgame after strong upgrades, multiple bugs, and intrusive ads as common drawbacks.
Pros
  • Relaxing, aesthetically pleasing visuals with calm music that create a soothing idle experience.
  • Deep, feature-rich idle mechanics (auto-collection upgrades, prestige layers, automation) that offer long-term engagement and progression.
  • Dev is responsive and engages with the community, implementing balance tweaks and updates based on feedback.
  • Generally praised for minimal or tasteful ad implementation and not feeling like a pay-to-win grind.
Cons
  • Progression is slow, especially early on, with grinding for upgrades feeling tedious.
  • Endgame can be completed quickly after powerful upgrades, leaving little to do for replayability.
  • Several bugs affect core gameplay (autobuy hiccups, prestige points not accumulating, flow-state/income issues, upgrade price resets).
  • Banner ads can feel intrusive and disrupt the zen experience for some players.

Few days ago, left a review about the talent system. Checked back to see if Dev responded, and the last review shows April 26? Uh, if you're gonna hide reviews, I'm just gonna delete and move on.

Pretty engaging and interesting things to do until you beat inferno and there’s nothing to progress towards

I’m on city and it was really fun up until now, I’m waiting for the final idle upgrade so I can progress. Before everything was really fun, now it’s literally taking days to unlock one upgrade I won’t use. Unless I’m missing something on how to progress. But like why do this? I also paid for no ads to support the developer. It is overall a well-done game. Also, does prestiging do anything if you’ve bought everything with your prestige points? Like does getting more prestige points increase your earn rate?
