A business asks for a fact, such as whether you meet an age requirement. MyProof checks your driver’s license or passport on your iPhone, confirms that you match the document, and creates a cryptographic proof. The business receives a verified answer without receiving your document image, face image, birth date, or document number.

HOW IT WORKS

• Open MyProof from a supported website, QR code, or App Clip link. You do not need an account or full app download. • Scan the PDF417 barcode on a supported U.S. driver’s license or ID, or scan the chip in a supported NFC passport. • Complete a short face and liveness check on your iPhone. • Your iPhone creates a tamper-evident zero-knowledge proof. • Review the result and choose when to share it.

• Your iPhone processes your document and face data. • MyProof does not upload your document image or face image for remote review. • A business receives the verified result required by its policy. • Hardware-backed device attestation helps bind the result to the app and device. • The business can check the proof without accessing the personal information used to create it.
