Auth & account lifecycle Sign up and sign in with email/password; validation errors display clearly. Password reset works (request reset and confirm email received, if enabled). Sign out is clean; if a drive is active it ends safely. App restart preserves sign-in and restores backend access when available. Backend connectivity Backend connected vs unavailable states display correctly. Refresh updates status reliably with no stuck loading states. Verification ID/document capture and upload work with correct camera/photo permissions. Verification status (pending → verified) is reflected in the app. Starting a drive is blocked when verification requirements are not met, with a clear message. Supervisor linking & presence check-in (critical) Create and share supervisor invite link and fallback code; copy/share works reliably. Supervisor accepts invite with code; linked status auto-refreshes. Supervisor selection and verification gating behave correctly. Presence check-in (new): student displays code/QR, supervisor confirms, biometrics handled gracefully, and confirmed check-in is enforced for standard users. Driving session core Start/End drive works; status resets correctly; no crash. Duration, distance, and day/night labeling are plausible and consistent. Supervisor heartbeat and re-auth flows work as expected. Telemetry & location Location permission flows are clear (allowed/denied). Current speed and km/h ↔ mph toggle work. Posted speed limit displays when available; behavior remains sane when unavailable. Telemetry batching continues during drives without excessive errors. Safety events & incident mapping (new) Speeding alerts trigger only during active drives and respect cooldown. Hard braking/collision events record correctly when triggered. Events list shows timestamps/details. Session detail map shows incident markers along the route; tapping an incident jumps to its location. Supervisor distance compliance (new) Supervisor device sends periodic location heartbeats during a drive. If devices separate beyond threshold for the configured duration while moving, the session is marked invalid with an appropriate reason. Rumble strip alarm (new) Toggle on/off persists across restarts. Sensitivity (Low/Medium/High) updates behavior and persists. High‑pitch alarm triggers only during active drives and respects cooldown. Background navigation tracking Background tracking runs while the app is backgrounded and stops when the drive ends.

Insights (new) Insights tab shows summary totals and recent sessions; drill‑in opens session detail. Readability is correct on dark theme; labels do not wrap unexpectedly. History, progress, weather Session history filters (ended/active/all) work. Session detail route loads; max points control works; no‑route cases are graceful. Inclement weather minutes/types/source/confidence display when present. Progress screen loads, refreshes, and updates state requirements and computed hours correctly. Account deletion (new) In-app account deletion is available with confirmation and signs the user out after completion. Subscriptions Trial/active/grace vs blocked behavior matches backend configuration.
