A fun chaotic game
by da*****, 2026-05-14
I genuinely cannot believe what I just experienced with this so-called “game” Chaos Rush. I downloaded it thinking it would be a fun, relaxing experience similar to other rhythm-based platformers, but instead I was met with pure frustration, confusion, and what I can only describe as borderline emotional distress.
First of all, the difficulty is COMPLETELY unreasonable. I’m not against a challenge, but this? This is not a challenge—this is punishment. The levels are way too fast, the obstacles come out of nowhere, and the timing windows feel like they were designed by someone who has never heard of fairness. I tapped ONCE too early and suddenly I’m back at the beginning? Excuse me?? Who thought that was a good idea?
And don’t even get me started on the music. Everyone kept saying “oh the music is so good, it helps you sync your jumps!” Well guess what—it doesn’t. It’s loud, chaotic (which I guess matches the name, congratulations), and instead of helping, it just adds to the stress. I turned the volume down and it somehow got WORSE because now I couldn’t even pretend I knew what was going on.
Also, why is there basically no explanation of how anything works? You just get thrown into this flashing, spinning, color-exploding mess with zero guidance. No tutorial worth mentioning, no helpful tips—just “good luck, suffer.” I had to guess what half the mechanics did, and by the time I figured it out, I was already too annoyed to care.
The visuals are another issue. Yes, they’re “bright” and “colorful,” but they’re also overwhelming. There is WAY too much going on at once. Backgrounds moving, objects flashing, random effects popping up—how is anyone supposed to focus? It honestly gave me a headache after a few minutes.
And let’s talk about progression. There basically isn’t any. You fail over and over and over with no sense of reward. No checkpoints, no mercy, just constant restarting. I don’t have time to spend hours memorizing every single pixel of a level just to pass ONE section. Some of us have lives.
I even tried to give it another chance because people online kept saying “it gets better.” No, it doesn’t. If anything, it gets WORSE. Faster speeds, tighter jumps, more nonsense mechanics—it’s like the developers sat down and said “how can we make this as annoying as possible?”
Honestly, I’m shocked this game has any positive reviews at all. Either those people are professional gamers with superhuman reflexes, or they’re just pretending to enjoy it. Because from my perspective, this is not fun, not relaxing, and definitely not worth my time.
Save yourself the stress and DO NOT download Chaos Rush. I’m uninstalling immediately and I will not be looking back. 😤
