Hints:

• Red means a word is "unknown" to you, yellow means that you added it to your learning list and green means that you already repeated its flashcard at least once. If is not highlighted at all, it either means, that you marked it as mastered, or that the word doesn't belong to the language you're learning.
• Quickly mark a word as mastered by double tapping it in the reader or pressing the tick icon. To add a word to your learning list, klick the plus icon.
