The Rated Work Experience App is built for aviation maintenance technicians who want to earn their Airframe and/or Powerplant certificates through practical work experience under 14 CFR Part 65.77. Instead of scattered notes, spreadsheets, or guesswork, this app helps you clearly document what you’ve done, where you did it, and how it maps to the FAA Airman Certification Standards (ACS).

Track your civilian or military employment, log detailed tasks by aircraft or engine, and see which ACS subjects your experience supports. Color‑coded subjects highlight where you’re strong, where experience is partial or conditional, and where you may need to seek additional hands-on work. Rated Work Experience does not guarantee authorization to test or replace FAA guidance—only the FSDO can grant authorization-but it does give you a structured way to present your work history and identify gaps before you schedule your interview.
