User Reviews

Interval News is praised for transparent, evidence-based reporting with visible sources and a commitment to unbiased coverage, which users see as a reliable alternative in a misinformation era. Reviewers appreciate its UI/UX, smooth performance, and features like the misinformation tab and the coverage/suppression meter that highlight underreported stories. However, recurring concerns include a paywall with little to no free content, forcing subscriptions, and sign-in limited to Apple ID, excluding non-Apple users. Many users also request more features (lists, broader topics, comments, API) to broaden usability. Overall, strong value for trust-conscious readers, with price and accessibility caveats.
Pros
  • Evidence-backed headlines with visible sources, including government pages.
  • Unbiased, objective coverage with credible sources.
  • Features like the misinformation tab and the coverage/suppression meter that surface underreported stories.
  • Nice UI/UX: intuitive, clean design and smooth performance.
  • Overall reliability and readability that helps readers stay informed without feeling overwhelmed.
Cons
  • Paywall with little or no free content; subscription required to access full articles (no strong free trial).
  • Only Apple ID sign-in; lack of alternative login options for non-Apple users.
  • Requests for more features and content types (lists, broader topics, comments, API) and potentially more customization.

A good news source. One of the few left so I am happy to pay for it to stay informed

All headlines include both “evidence” and “sources” sections, many of which are backed by several .gov pages. Great way to get accurate information without digging to fact check.

I love the unbiased, but more importantly the coverage you guys ground with such a small group. I only ask that you allow for more login option. I do have an Apple iPhone but I don’t wish to use their services as Apple.id’s have been severely outdated for DECADES. I merely just wish to sign in on google or other forms of registration. If this can happen I’ll buy the yearly subscription right now.
