Features & Capabilities

Pixel Away places you on a color-filled conveyor where you tap to send carriers that release balls onto matching-color pixel cubes. Each carrier shows its ammo count, and when it runs out it leaves the stage; if ammo remains, it waits in one of five slots and can be sent again for another round.

The conveyor's limited capacity makes timing essential as you plan a run to gradually build progress across the board. Tap → run → repeat.

User Reviews

Pixel Away offers addictive pixel-art puzzle gameplay and engaging level variety, but is hampered by frequent bugs that lock progression, heavy ads, and monetization gating. Players report multiple levels being broken or unsolvable, and many feel the developers aren’t listening to feedback. If these issues are resolved, it could be a standout puzzle game.
Pros
  • Addictive and highly engaging puzzle gameplay that keeps players coming back.
  • Fun and satisfying puzzle mechanics with a charming pixel-art style.
  • Visually appealing retro-looking pixel art and varied level designs.
  • Good breadth of content and replayability with many levels to solve.
Cons
  • Frequent game-breaking bugs on multiple levels where puzzles cannot be completed (e.g., levels 610, 588, 359, 482), blocking progression.
  • Excessive ads and monetization pressure (ads after almost every level; perceived pay-to-win).
  • Progress sometimes gated by coins or power-ups, making advancement feel unfair or requiring purchases.
  • Perceived lack of responsiveness from developers to fix issues or address player feedback.

So far the game seems fun, but the fact they bribe you with coins to give them 5 stars is tacky. Let people rate the game how they actually feel!

It’s a great game but when I get done with the ladder prize and start a level, it takes half of my money for some reason. I can send proof if needed.
