Data handling: your documents are processed for extraction using the AI provider you choose. With bring-your-own-key, requests go directly to your provider and are not stored on our servers. Managed AI is processed in Germany when the Frankfurt regional service (Vertex AI europe-west3) is used; Google may temporarily retain selected prompts for abuse monitoring when applicable, potentially for up to 90 days (not used to train Google models). The document index is hosted in the EU.
