Medtech AI is an AI-powered clinical documentation and patient communication platform built specifically for New Zealand and Australian healthcare. Deeply integrated with Medtech’s PMS, it functions as an ambient AI medical scribe that captures consultations in real time and converts them into structured clinical notes.

During the consultation, Medtech AI generates a live medical transcript and structured notes in formats such as SOAP. It can also create referral letters and clear consultation summaries. Key patient information, including previous consultation notes, medications, conditions, allergies, immunisations, screenings, and outstanding tasks, is surfaced within a central dashboard.

Every AI-generated output is reviewed and approved by the clinician before being written back into the Practice Management Software. Medtech AI supports clinical workflows but does not replace clinical judgment.
