WHAT PRACTICE TIME DOES Tap your PracticeTag NFC card to start a focused session. The app tracks your time, keeps your metronome running, and builds a record of every session you complete. Tap again to end it. No setup, no friction — just focused practice.

FEATURES

Metronome — Free, always available. Adjustable tempo (30–240 BPM), time signatures, beat unit control, subdivisions, compound meters (6/8, 9/8, 12/8), and accent on the first beat.

Practice Timer — Set a duration and choose Light or Deep Practice. Save practice modes with your preferred tempo and time signature. Deep Practice can block distracting apps during a session using Screen Time (Family Controls). Earn XP and maintain daily streaks. Mystery rewards can add bonus practice time spread across upcoming days.

SustainAI — Real-time pedal analysis using your iPhone’s microphone. Hear when sustain technique is creating harmonic blur — feedback that used to require a teacher in the room.

Session History & Goals — Every completed session is logged: duration, tempo, time signature, XP, and more. Review your progress and set weekly practice goals.

Practice Recording — Record yourself with the camera and review playback when you’re done.

Messages — Stay connected with your teacher, parents, or classmates. Direct chats, class chats, and assignment threads. Send text, photos, voice messages, and practice videos. Long-press to block or report; mute notifications per chat.

Video calls — Start a one-to-one video call from an eligible chat. Works in-app and with the system incoming-call experience when you’re away from the app.

Homework & classrooms — Teachers assign work; students see assignments in Homework and linked message threads. Class chats keep everyone in sync.

Linked accounts — Students, teachers, and parents connect accounts for messaging, supervision where required, and in-person pairing when nearby.

XP Store — Spend XP on Streak Freezes and XP Boosts (no subscription).
