Everything is so thoughtful, I hope the developer decides to add updates with new backgrounds, accessories and fish!
Great work!

I’m enjoying this app! The fish are beautiful, especially the sky spirits.
I do have some feedback though. First of all, the fish prioritise swimming in circles, rather than back and forth, so it can make me feel a bit like watching a washing machine 😅 Second of all, there’s nothing coded in to prevent the fish from swimming belly-up for prolonged periods of time, which is mechanically fine but ends up feeling a little concerning and disorienting just from a realism perspective, since healthy fish don’t generally swim belly-up. I think a threshold where if they rotate more than, idk, 100*, they have to flip, would be helpful in keeping them upright and healthy. Third of all, the sky spirits in specific school very closely. It looks like they may have the same distance threshold as the other fish, but bc the sky spirits are bigger, they’re practically on top of each other at all times while the smaller fish don’t really have that issue. Oh, and fourth of all, very minor, but real time day/night speed doesn’t seem to track local time; I had broad daylight in my aquarium at 10:30pm, when I tried it.
My final feedback… the jellyfish 😞 I was very excited to see one, bc I love jellyfish, and I saved up my orbs diligently, but in the end I had to disable it because the legs are so stiff. They sway underneath it like reeds in a wind chime, not like ribbons in water. I think changing the animation of the legs will be critical to making it look jellyfish-like and appealing.
All that said, I really do like this game. I rarely leave reviews, and I’m leaving this one more as encouragement of how I think the game can be better than criticism. I think it’s amazing that one person made all this, and I have supported the game in hopes that it will be worthwhile to keep developing it. I’m also very grateful it supports apple TV, so I can have my lil sky spirits in their washing machine while I work 😌 hope to see more fish, more jellyfish-like jellyfish (🙏🙏🙏), and maybe some movement coding updates ^^
Oh! Also, I should add, I love the thought bubbles the fish have. Especially the sky spirits are very funny. Behold my loyal subjects 😂 it’s a simple addition that makes me get attached to the fish more, and I appreciate it.
Oh, one more edit… having it installed on both TV and phone breaks it /: I wanted to see if I could bring my fish with me, but it deleted everything.
