Your AI-powered news podcast
Kaft is a news app that turns daily news into a personalized podcast, based on your interests, where every second is relevant.
News is spread across too many platforms, optimized for clicks, and often consumed through new mediums without enough explanation. Kaft is built to fix that.
Kaft creates a news podcast based on your interests, language (more options coming soon), and the time you have (you choose the length of the podcast). Instead of scrolling feeds or jumping between sources, you listen to a clear, structured update that connects the most important stories of the day.
Kaft aggregates news from a wide range of established sources per topic and subtopic and synthesises them into a conversational podcast. Stories are grouped, explained, and placed in context, so you understand how events relate to each other and why they matter beyond just the headline.
Kaft is not about giving you more news. It’s about giving you a more structured way to become more informed. We adjust to your routine, not the other way around.
How Kaft works:
You choose what you care about: topics, regions, language, and preferred episode length. KAFT continuously selects relevant stories, writes a concise script, and generates a podcast you can listen to whenever it fits your day.
You can use Kaft for:
• A short daily update in the morning
• A catch-up during a commute
• A more detailed and more in-depth podcast to really grasp what’s happening around you
The experience is flexible by design. You decide how much time to spend. Kaft adapts to that constraint instead of ignoring it.
Designed for listening, not scrolling
Kaft is built for audio-first consumption. It works while walking, training, commuting, or doing anything that doesn’t involve staring at a screen. New stories are integrated continuously, so your briefing stays relevant without becoming overwhelming.
Context over noise
Where possible, Kaft connects stories across politics, economics, technology, and society. Major events are explained alongside related developments and alternative interpretations, helping you understand the broader picture instead of isolated updates.
Core of Kaft and Future outlook
You can react to episodes and refine your preferences over time. Kaft uses this feedback to improve future briefings and better match what you actually find useful.
This is an early product, and it will keep improving. The goal is simple and long-term: help people stay informed without burning time or attention.
We are now in our first testing phase, but in version 2, you can expect:
• Introducing Deep-Dives: specialised episodes that help you build a deeper understanding of the topics you care about.
• More personalisation and more voices
• More sophisticated interactive features
• Breaking News alerts that come in text-first format to keep you updated on breaking news quickly and efficiently.
