Firepit is the dating app designed to be…fun. We blended the group dynamics of modern social networks with the traditional online dating format to create a product containing the best of both worlds. Once you download Firepit, you’ll form groups of 2 to 5 with your friends, and we’ll show you compatible groups of equivalent size. By allowing users to date alongside their friends, we’re turning the natural behavior of wingmanning into a digital tool for a safer and more exciting experience. From pregames and beach days to barbecues and sports, Firepit is designed to act as a companion to the way young adults actually socialize, allowing them to orchestrate their perfect weekends right from their phones.

UNDER THE HOOD: Sign up and create your profile. Fill out biographical information to share the facts that make you, you. Upload up to six photos and respond to three prompts from a library designed to showcase your real personality through real creativity. Create “tents” (groups) with your friends that automatically compile your profiles into one joint profile - sizes 2-5. Select one of your tents to enter the app with and begin discovering other compatible groups of the same size. Seamlessly switch between your tents to date with all the combinations of your friends that you’ve created. Meet the groups you match with in a “firepit” (group chat) and set up everything from double dates to quintuple dates. Long press on profile elements to react, gossip, compliment, and share your opinions of other user’s creations. Send winks to members of tents you’ve matched with to signal individual, one-on-one interest. Proud of the profile you’ve crafted? Showcase how many winks you’ve received or hide them in settings. Chat privately with the friends in your tent to speak freely and truly share the online dating experience. Press the “ask” button on a group profile that you’re unsure about to automatically send a preview in your tent chat and get your friend’s opinions.
