I’ve been using the app for about six months. If you’re looking for a place to socialize with other readers and writers, keep track of your goals, or get inspiration, then this is the place for you! However, be aware that you’re growing an audience of people who like your 100-word stories, not necessarily of people who like your longer works. SnipFic works a bit like TikTok, where most viewers see one short before they keep scrolling to the next one. You CAN post stories longer than 100 words in parts, but breaking up a story that way is like breaking up a whole YouTube video to fit on TikTok — not productive or even feasible sometimes. If you want to grow your audience for longer works, you’re better off using another platform (and maybe using this app to promote that platform.) Between the way the algorithm works, the writing streaks, and the rankings list of writers on the search page, this app feels more like a social media app than a reading and writing app. However, unlike most social media apps, the community here is overwhelmingly positive, constructive, and very fun and jokey at times! I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a community of readers and writers like you!

This app is genuinely amazing. The community is like no other, and it's a great place to write and ramble and make new friends. Everyone is so friendly (but we will call you out for bs — idk maybe just me). Genuinely my favourite app!!

I joined quite a while ago, and have got to see it grow for a little bit now. When I joined, the community was tightly knit, and there were trends like an elbow reveal for when the android users were first joining. Somehow, even though the community has grown so much, it still feels just as close knit. JBRider also does an amazing job of listening to feedback, keeping people updated, and consistently asking so that he can make it better. While I am personally am broke, if I worked, I would 100% support them by paying for their “scribe” subscription (Which is much cheaper than 90% of other subscriptions) Overall, the community is great, the feedback is taken into account regularly, and the app is beautifully laid out in an intuitive manner. 5/5 Stars, no reason to complain. Thank you to JBRider and everyone who helped create this wonderful app!
