WHAT IS KEYPO?

Paper backups get lost. Password managers get hacked. Custodians can freeze your accounts. Keypo is a new way to recover your seed phrases that is self custody without a single point of failure.

Keypo splits your seed phrase into pieces across devices you already own: your Mac, your iPhone, and your YubiKey (optional). Each piece is encrypted with the device's highest security features, the Secure Enclave, and can only be decrypted using Touch ID (on your Mac), Face ID (on your iPhone) and a PIN (on your Yubikey). Lose one device? Recover your full seed phrase with any two.

Your seed phrase never touches the cloud, we never collect any personal information, and there's no single point of failure.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Enter your seed phrase on your Mac using Keypo for Desktop
2. Keypo splits it into 3 pieces using Shamir's Secret Sharing
3. One piece is sent to this iPhone app, encrypted with Face ID. The other two pieces are encrypted by your Mac using Touch ID and your Yubikey using a PIN.
4. Recover anytime with any 2 of 3 devices

No single piece reveals anything about your seed phrase. Even if one device is stolen, your seed phrase stays safe.
