Designed for musicians, midiOS opens ready to perform. Tap pads to play notes, chords, and scales. Instantly change keys and musical modes. Swipe to explore chord inversions, 7th chords, and harmonic variations. While holding a pad, use touch gestures, device tilt, aftertouch, pitch movement, and expressive controls to shape your performance in real time.

Performance Mode unlocks the Harmony Engine, where intelligent chord movement, voice leading, secondary dominants, modal interchange, and synchronized arpeggiation work together to keep your music flowing naturally. The arpeggiator follows your DAW’s tempo and phase, creating seamless transitions without restarting patterns.

Using the included midiOS Bridge for Mac, connect over USB or Wi-Fi and control your DAW with an ultra-low-latency MIDI connection. midiOS works with MIDI-compatible software and features deep integration with Ableton Live, including clip launching, scene launching, transport controls, session feedback, mixer controls, macros, and real-time visual feedback directly on your iPhone.

Rotate your device to enter LiveGrid, transforming your iPhone into a powerful live performance controller. Launch clips and scenes, navigate your session, control transport, and manage your performance from anywhere in the room.

Expression is built into every interaction. Multi-touch performance, pressure gestures, motion control, XY pads, sliders, knobs, macros, and optional facial gesture control allow your movements to become part of the performance.
