Risked a total of $20 on two challenges, completed both of them, made $1.69. One challenge over 100 people lost and the only thing I received back was my initial risk. So even with 100 people losing, I risked $10 to make literally $0.00. Use StepBet or one of the other step apps that have better functionality and you can actually make money when you complete challenges.

Update: After speaking to the Founder of Steppa, I have decided to change my review due to the positive customer support I’ve received from Cam. He explained how the breakdown for payments are now in FAQ and will be transparent from the start of your challenges. I appreciate the time and effort that was taken to make things right. Did a challenge where 2 people won the pot of $75 (5 of us with $15 buy in). The app only returned $28.12 to each of us. I reached out to customer support 2 days ago and asked for a breakdown of how me and the other person only got $28.12 each of the $75 we won. No response. I checked to see if they take money out somewhere on the app after winnings. Couldn’t find anything. Yesterday, reached out again when they said they were aware of a problem with the wallet. Got a response back quickly that AM: Hey, Real human here, what is your issue Copy and pasted my previous email. Thanks for being a real human this time and not respond to me again. I checked the reviews before getting this app. Seems after an influx of people getting the app, they are having similar issue as I am. Don’t waste your time or money. I’ll be reaching out to Apple about this.

Done two different challenges each of had over 100 people failing and have made a total of $2. The last challenge had 100 people failing out of 500 and still only got my money back. The profit margins on this app must be insane. Beware, it’s not what it seems.
