I feel incredibly grateful that my parents are still here, still sharp, and able to help me capture not only their stories, but my grandparents’ stories too. My grandparents passed away when I was a child, and so much of their history lives only through my parents — memories that could easily be lost if we weren't capturing them now. Curio Blvd gives me a space to document the past while I document my own kids growing up. Audio, video, photos, and the little everyday moments all live together in one thoughtful, beautifully organized digital time capsule. I love knowing my children will one day have access to our full family story — not just fragments or secondhand memories, but something real and lasting. Living on the West Coast, wildfires are always in the back of my mind. Having our family history safely preserved, no matter what happens, brings a level of peace of mind I didn’t realize I needed. Going through this process I’ve noticed that some old photos and written pieces have faded so I’m glad I’m doing this sooner rather than later. This app helps ensure our stories and memories are safe, preserved, and never forgotten.

Truly a must have for recording a loved one’s life story.

Got this app for my mom for Christmas (I got the physical Time Capsule journal by Curio Blvd last year for her but unfortunately her hands have gotten really shaky and she can write well anymore) I am truly blown away by this app! I taught her how to use the app and record her answers and every week I can see her answering more questions and prompts about her life! I wish there was a video to text feature but the owner said it is coming out next release. I will say: if you want someone much older to use the app, I would sit down with them and go through how to upload their answers maybe once or twice. I do think the interface is very easy to navigate and it is so special being able to see my mom answer the questions and I’ll have these recordings forever! Bravo Curio Blvd!
