Ergo4A – AI-Powered Workplace Ergonomics

Ergo4A is an educational tool developed to raise awareness of ergonomics an the workplace. It uses AI to automatically capture posture and movement patterns, evaluates them according to ergonomic principles, and supports interactive learning through interpretable visualisations. Ergo4A aims to promote ergonomic postures at work, offering tips for lifting, carrying, or seated work tasks. Developed as a research collaboration between University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten and TU Wien, and funded by the Chamber of Labour of Lower Austria (AK NÖ), Ergo4A makes ergonomics accessible to everyone – regardless of workplace or prior knowledge.
